At Adaptive Roots Academy, we believe in education that honors each child’s unique strengths. Our nature-based, inquiry-driven approach is designed for students who thrive in dynamic, hands-on learning environments.

Step 1: Learn More

• Read about our Educational Philosophy and how we support different learners.

• Attend an Open House or Virtual Info Session.

•Schedule a one-on-one consultation with us to discuss your child’s unique needs, learning style, and how our outdoor, hands-on curriculum can support their growth.

Step 3: Family Meeting & Student Observation

• After submitting your application, we will schedule a Family Meeting to discuss your child’s learning style, needs, and interests.

• Students may also participate in a trial learning experience to ensure a good fit.

Step 5: Welcome to the Adaptive Roots Community!

• Attend our New Family Orientation and meet other students and staff.

• Get ready for a school year filled with exploration, creativity, and growth!

Step 2: Submit Application

• Complete our Online Application Form.

• A $50 non-refundable application fee is required.

• Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Step 4: Admissions Decision & Enrollment

• Families will be notified of their admissions status within 2 weeks of completing the application process.

• If accepted, you’ll receive an Enrollment Packet with tuition details, policies, and next steps.

• A deposit is required to secure your child’s spot.

Enrollment Preferences & Availability

Which program schedule are you interested in?

Full-Day Enrollment (Traditional School Model) – A 6-hour school day where students are officially enrolled at Adaptive Roots. We provide full academic instruction, covering all required subjects and meeting Department of Education standards.

Part-Time Enrollment (Homeschool Supplement) – A 3-day-per-week program designed to support homeschool families. This option includes partial curriculum coverage, allowing students to enroll in up to two subjects to complement their at-home learning.

Curriculum Design for Homeschool Families – Custom curriculum development tailored to the needs of homeschool families, providing structured learning plans, resources, and guidance without in-person instruction.

Summer Program – A 2-month program running from June to July, offering engaging, hands-on learning experiences, enrichment activities, and social opportunities.

After-School Program (2 Hours) – A structured, supportive program running for 2 hours after school, offering academic support, enrichment activities, and a nurturing space for continued learning and exploration.

Social Skills Groups (1 Hour – Saturday Afternoons) – Small-group sessions lasting 1 hour, focused on fostering social-emotional development, communication skills, and peer interactions in a supportive environment.
